Allwood Products offer a range of attractive Oregon Shiplap rustic-style studios, sleepouts, garden sheds, offices, and more. These buildings blend into any environment whether it be a small shed for the garden or a lined and insulated sleep out, the choice is yours..
Your Allwood Product comes to you in a modular kit form with all fixing components supplied. Using modular components means that the size and design can be flexible to suit your tastes and needs.
Our Range
Sheds and Garden Sheds
These attractive Oregon Shiplap buildings blend into any environment, and are made from naturally durable locally sourced New Zealand timbers. We have a number of size options available for the many uses.
Studios, Offices & Sleepouts
These options are made from Oregon or Lawson Cypress with insulated (walls, floor and ceiling), interior lining and electrical hardware. Opening windows, French doors and colour steel roof.
Mezzanine Sleepouts
With the same great features as our studio / office options these sleepouts have the addition of a nice cosy mezzanine space. A verandah and deck finishs this great accommodation option off beautifully.
Easy & Flexible Assembly
Allwood Products come in an easy to assemble modular kit, with assembly instructions and all the fixing components necessary. Components are lined with building paper and all screw together forming the walls, this allows doors and windows to be placed on any wall. A pre-finished floor can be supplied. Site preparation is minimal since the entire shed will sit on bearers.
We can also assemble for you – available in Nelson, Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland. Freight is additional.

Locally grown and sustainable timber
Gibson Timber Ltd is a locally owned family business which was founded in 1965 by Robert’s father Barry Gibson. Robert took over the business in 1992 and has been personally running it since.
Gibson Timber supplies Allwood Products treatment free, naturally durable timbers.
Our products use predominantly Western Red Cedar, Macrocarpa, Oregon, and Lawsons Cypress. Windows and doors are made in our factory out of Western Red Cedar.
